Galatina
Guided tour to discover the treasures kept in the quaint old town. You will visit the wonderful Basilica of Santa Caterina and be taken to the Pozzo di San Paolo to discover the ancient rituals associated with the traditional Salento dance, the pizzica pizzica.
Afterwards, we will accompany you to a historic local pastry shop, where you can taste the most popular dessert in Salento, the legendary pasticciotto leccese, which has its origin in Galatina itself.

Walk through the historic center of Melpignano and visit to the marquis palace. We will admire the Convent of the Augustinians, in front of which the biggest popular music event in Puglia is held in the summer: La Notte della Taranta.

Visit to the Lecce Stone Ecomuseum, which tells the story of the work and productions of this land in an ancient underground oil mill.

This is followed by a guided tour of the imposing De’ Monti Castle, a splendid example of a 16th-century fortification.
