Biccari and Lucera, nature, famous origins and great history
Biccari
Stroll through the streets of Biccari, a quaint town in the Dauno Apennines that was the birthplace of a well-known Italian abroad, Ralph De Palma, a U.S. driver considered to be among the greatest car racers of all time, a symbol for generations of Italian emigrants to America. The ancient village is known for its Byzantine Tower and churches.
Followed by a tasting of the typical focaccia from Biccari.

Lucera
Guided tour of the historic center of the ancient city of Lucera, a candidate for Italian Capital of Culture 2026. We will visit the monumental Swabian-Angevin Fortress and you will be amazed at the classical grandeur of the Roman Amphitheater.
At the end of the visit there will be a tasting of local wines in a typical bar in the old town.

Troy and Faeto, history, transhumance and tradition.
Troy
Guided tour of the historic center of Troy, discovering the beautiful Romanesque Cathedral. The town is also known for transhumance, or the traditional transfer of flocks of sheep that saw Troy as a crossing point to the Dauni Mountains. In summer, it is still possible to witness the transhumance of cattle, an event celebrated in a large community festival.
After the visit you can enjoy a tasting of the typical dessert of Troy, the Pasionaria, which you certainly won’t be able to forget.

Faeto
Visit one of the two highest villages in Puglia and the only linguistic island in Puglia of ancient Franco-Provençal, along with nearby Celle San Vito. Faeto is a village with picturesque alleyways, overlooking the Tavoliere delle Puglie, in which you will enjoy splendid views of the surrounding beech and oak forests and pristine silence.
After the visit, we will taste typical local cured meats, known for their goodness.

Bovino, Orsara and Accadia: the beauty of villages, the transmission of knowledge and flavors
Bovino
Walk through the center of Bovino, one of the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy” certified “Orange Flag” country by the Italian Touring Club. It will be thrilling to wander through the quaint alleys until you are amazed by the beauty of the Ducal Castle, which, dominating the entire valley, encapsulates the ancient history of the place.
This will be followed by a tasting of local dairy products.

Move by bus to the nearby “Moleno d’acqua del Ponte,” the only still-functioning water mill in Puglia, where you can admire the ancient processing of the prized Cappelli wheat, handed down from generation to generation by the family that runs it.

After the succulent meal, we will head to the village of Accadia for a visit to the MOA – Museum of the Origins of Accadia recently opened inside a historic building, which narrates the origins of the village in an innovative and engaging way.
