Music, food and wine products and the majestic tree of plenty, enliven the civil celebrations.

Another occasion of great appeal is the Feast of Maria Santissima del Bosco, patron saint of the town, which occurs between 12 and 14 August: these are the days in which many Spinazzolese who have emigrated abroad choose to return home to share the great day of celebration with their loved ones who have remained in their homeland.

Precisely to collect and enhance this important event in which the local community returns to

On August 15th, the Municipality of Spinazzola organizes the Festa dell’Emigrante, with music, typical dishes and stories to tell.
An appointment prepared, in the previous months, by a series of appointments carried out in collaboration with the Registry Office to facilitate the research of the Spinazzolese on their origins, by a series of cooking workshops to recover ancient recipes and by guided tours to discover the places of childhood and family homes.

The event received the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the realization of cultural activities in favor of Italian descendants, to be carried out for the Year of Italian Roots.
