On the occasion of the celebrations of the patron saint of Spinazzola Maria Santissima del Bosco which occur between 12 and 14 August, there is a great return of fellow citizens who emigrated from all over the world.
Precisely to collect and enhance this important event in which the local community returns to gather, the Municipality of Spinazzola organizes the event “RipartiAmo dalle Radici – Telling the past to build the future”, scheduled for August 15th.

The appointment is prepared by a series of activities, including the possibility for emigrants to carry out research on their origins in collaboration with the Registry Office, and the activation of a range of workshops to rediscover abandoned games, cooking workshops to recover ancient recipes and guided tours to discover childhood places or family homes.

On the evening of August 15, space for music, to create a moment of conviviality for fellow citizens who emigrated and their families.

Let’s start from the roots has received the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for the realization of cultural activities in favor of Italian descendants, to be carried out for the Year of Italian Roots.
