In Grottaglie city of ceramics for “Orecchiette in the ‘nchiosce”

The queen of Puglian culinary tradition, orecchietta, becomes in early August the red thread of the two-day festival in Grottaglie, a town in the province of Taranto already known for its handcrafted ceramics. A route, that through the alleys of the historic center, called ‘nchiosce” in the local dialect, that combines more ancient knowledge: cuisine and local crafts. From alley to alley, from workshop to workshop of the master potters who for the occasion open the doors of their activities and their productions, there is a succession of stands where renowned chefs offer numerous and personal interpretations of the typical Puglian dish, all accompanied by wine from wineries of excellence in the area.
